"Thank you so much for Sling Baby! We initally bought a popular, expensive front carrier when our son Sam was about a month old. He cried every time we put him in it and with him right in front of my face, I couldn't see to wash bottles, fold laundry and do all the other hands-free things I need to do.
We ordered the Sling Baby when he was six weeks old and it is fantastic. When rocking , swaddling, singing etc. it never fails to sooth him. we put him in the sling and 9 times out of 10 he's asleep in two minutes. I'm sure there are angel babies who never cry and don't need this product, but works wonders for our fussy little guy. Plus it is comfortable for both me (5'5) and my husband (6'4').

Thought I'd let you know that I get more complements on your infant carrier. Almost as many as I get on my new baby. My new son has been in and out of this carrier since he was four days old and he really loves it. He can't stand his car seat (which I do not use as a carrier and now I can't). I purchased the Asia Hip Baby Carrier beforee we left for China to get our daughter. I didn't use the carrier much in China because Anna was fine in her stroller. However, I have used it constantly since. We fly a lot and I would not be able to get on a plane without it. I waited in line at our Social Security Office with her in the carrier for nearly four hours. We live near the theme parks and I use it all of the time to wait in lines and see the shows. Anna is now almost 2/12, and she gets really excited when she sees her carrier. She will fall asleep in her carrier but not her stroller. I hiked in the Rocky Mountians with her, walked all over Sydney Australia and Chicago and visited Niagra Falls with Anna in her carrier. It washes up nicely too! I will be so sad when she can no longer can fit! Thanks and please know that I am a faithfull, walking advertisement where ever I go!. I have recommend it to many not just adoptive moms.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for such a well made product. I bought mine from another adoptive mom who never used it (WHAT???) and it has been almost a year now and it is still the most important thing to make sure is in the car when we go out. My daughter is 19 mos and almost 26lbs and this carrier still makes carrying her easy.

I just wanted to write and let you know how much I love my WRF Hip Baby Carrier. It was a gift from my Mom just before my husband and I left for China to adopt our daughter. This carrier was a lifesaver and we were the envy of many of our travel companions. Our daughter wanted to be held constantly so she spent much of her time in the carrier while we were in China. We have been home 4 months now and I still use it almost every day. I have carried her in it while shopping, vacuuming, and even washing the car. I get stopped everywhere and asked about my WRF carrier and I always give it rave reviews.... and give the website info. Thank you so much for such a wonderful well made product. I couldn't be happier with it!

Just had to tell you that I LOVE your Hip Baby carrier.
I have suggested to so many people they get this one over others on all of the China adoption lists I am on! Just today, I am sitting here writing to three different people and telling them how much I loved using it when in China last year at this time. I can't imagine having gone to China without your hip carrier! Someone offered their Baby Bjorn to me to use...YUCK! I had the worst neck and shoulder pain and even got a headache after wearing it one day, was ready to throw it away!

We used your Hip Baby Asia for our adoption of Grace in November 2004 and it was wonderful. So easy to use and as most of our angels were sweating profusely, the wicking material worked wonders to keep Grace comfortable.
All the parents on our trip were struggling with Baby Bjorns and Hip Hammocks and the like and by the end of our trip all of them said they would be buying a Hip Baby when they returned home.

Our new hip carrier arrived yesterday and we already LOVE it. My son slipped right into it and we walked around like we'd had it forever! He was so happy to be close to me, and be able to look around. Plus, with this my arms won't be so sore for carrying around a 23 pound baby! It was also great for that 5 o'clock dinner hour cranky time when he just wants to be held.

I have gotten so many comments about my Hip Baby carrier that I had to write. I have been using the carrier since my son was six months old and continue to use it now at eighteen months. I used a traditional sling when he was an infant but found it too cumbersome in hot weather (he was born in Hawaii).

Q. I recently read that the Hip Hammock has been recalled 32,000 Hip Hammocks because “the shoulder strap support can detach from the hammock, posing a fall hazard to the baby”. Can this happen with Hip Baby too?
A. Hip Baby is designed for safety. Our shoulder strap is manufactured using a trade secrets that keep our straps safely attached. In addition, our strap ends are manufactured with thick seams that keep the shoulder strap attached to the tension lock and back slide.

Baby Julia's Special Story
Hello!
Just wanted to give some feedback on my beloved Walking Rock carrier. I am a Flight Attendant and saw a passenger using one for her 22 month old. I received it about a month ago and was a little uncertain if my wiggly 14 month old would take to it or not! Well, after a week of wearing it around the house, my daughter, Paige, added the word, "UP" to her vocabulary and took to enjoying long cuddles with Mommy around the house.
I am attaching a photo we not long after receiving our carrier....Paige got into the laundry and disappeared for a bit. She managed to sling a pair of Dad's underwear around her body and once she realized what she had done, she quickly ran to get her froggy and tried to stuff him into the pouch she had made on her hip! Of course I was happy to help her and she was quite pleased with the result! Thought you might enjoy this!
It's a wonderful product and have been raving about it to anyone who will listen!

We recently purchased your Hip Baby product and my wife and I absolutely love it. We also purchased the Playtex Hip Hammock to compare and your product is beyond comparison to the Playtex version. Just about one month ago, Playtex recalled their product sighting faulty stitching.

Dear Walking Rock Farm,
I received my Hip Baby a week ago and I already don't know how I ever lived
without it. My child is two years old and has Congenital Hypotonia and
Sensory Integration Dysfunction. Which basically means that he has low
muscle tone and gets tired really easy (hypotonia) and he needs to be held
most of the time because his brain does not process Sensory information
properly.
He can not "sit" on my hip when I carry him like a normal 2 year old can.
He slides down my side when I try to hold him this way (just like a child
who is 4-5 months old does). My son's doctor recommended the hip baby
because I could't get much done carrying him all the time because I had to
use both hands.
The second I took the carrier out of the box to try it on, my son wanted to
be in it. He loved it. I walk around the house, the store, the
neighborhood, and now I have a free hand to actually get things done. His
occupational therapist was so happy when I brought it to therapy with us.
She knows how much he needs to be held "close" and said she hadn't ever seen
him smile so big!
Jake will probably be able to one day keep up with his peers, but until
then, I am glad to have my new hip baby carrier to give him the closeness
and support he needs. I would recommend this carrier to any mom with a
"special needs" or "developmentally delayed" toddler. If you have any
questions about the carrier, if it would work for your specific child print
a copy of the flyer and take it to your child's doctor or physical
therapist. My doctor said she had already recommended it to several
patients with symptoms similar to Jake's.
